Towards Zero Hunger: How economic research can help people live free from hunger and violence!

Based on his research in Africa, the Middle East and Asia, Prof. Brück will explain how multiple risks like violence, fragility, displacement and climate shocks can combine to hurt people’s lives, livelihoods and food security. He will also outline how interventions can help people overcome hunger.
The economist Tilman Brück is Professor for Economic Development and Food Security at Humboldt-University of Berlin and Team Leader for Development Economics and Food Security at the Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops.
