Der Klimawandel ist eingetreten. Hat die Weltgemeinschaft noch eine Chance, einen politisch gesteuerten Ausweg aus dem ökologischen Desaster zu finden, ohne am Fundament demokratischer Strukturen rütteln zu müssen? Laut dem Soziologen Jens Beckert und der Historikerin Hedwig Richter hat sie das, aber »das drängendste Problem der westlichen Gesellschaften ist die Resignation«. Gemeinsam mit dem Atmosphärenforscher Tobias Sauter liefern sie Ansatzpunkte für eine demokratische Klimapolitik.
Die Veranstaltung findet in Kooperation mit der Einstein Stiftung Berlin statt. Es moderiert Maike Voss.
