Doctoral Researcher
Mehwish Zuberi is a doctoral student at the Department of Geography at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development. She is investigating she is investigating agricultural intensification processes and their consequences in South Punjab of Pakistan with the aim to develop alternative sustainable pathways in a climate change scenario. She graduated in Environmental Governance from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg (MSc) and in Anthropology and Sociology from Lahore University of Management Sciences (BSc). Prior to joining IRI-THESys, she worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Societal Transition & Circular Economy and Forest & Environmental Policy at University of Freiburg, as well as a consultant for GIZ Nepal.
