Tobias Krüger, Director of IRI THESys, and communications expert Pauline Münch were appointed as Open Science Ambassadors from the Berlin University Alliance to promote open science standards.
This two-year programme aims to raise awareness and encourage the use of open science practices such as transdisciplinary research and transparent handling of research data. The 23 ambassadors, selected from eight faculties and a Cluster of Excellence, include researchers from diverse fields such as medicine, psychology, and engineering.
The Center for Open and Responsible Research (CORe) will support the ambassadors with financial resources for training, networking activities, and organizing educational events for researchers, decision-makers, and students. A second call for applications is planned for spring 2025.
